| For sale is a lovely sterling silver gravy ladle by Gale & Willis, New York c.1859-1862. Approximately 7 1/2" long and 2.45 troy ounces. Monogrammed with what resembles AJVW. Marks include Gale & Willis and 925 STERLING. John R. Willis was Wm Gale's son in law. He worked with Gale from 1859-1862. The mark GALE & WILLIS was used during that early time.
