| For sale is a gorgeous ring handmade by Ilias Lalaounis of Greece. Approximately 12.2 grams and approximately a size 10. It is a fine 22k gold with 2 balls of lapis lazuli or sodalite. It has been in the family since the 70's when it was purchased in Greece. Marks include I LALAOUNIS, A.27, a logo and what looks like V22. In the book "Ilias LaLaounis Metamorphoses" on page 169, there are some pieces of jewelry very similar to this piece. The design is inspired by a detail of one of the pillars in the "Hall of the Hundred Columns" in Persepolis (end of 6th century B.C.) Very good condition. | |||||||||
