Unusual Early Sterling Silver Serving Spoon G. Sharp?
Wonderfully crafted sterling silver serving spoon. Approximately 9" long and weighs 1.96 troy oz. No monogram. This finely crafted spoon has 3 well executed stylized leaf & berry sprigs on the handle. I think they may be cherries. The handle also seems to be fashioned in the shape of an arrowhead or gothic design. This spoon has some really nice features that remind me of the work of George Sharp. The bowl has a very light gold wash. The spoon is marked STERLING and is in very good condition. Slight bend to rim of bowl which I will mention for accuracy but is hardly noticeable as is shown in photos. It can be fixed very easily.
