| Wonderful 18th century English sterling silver sugar tongs by Peter & Ann Bateman. Approximately 5 3/8" long. c.1791-92. Monogrammed C.T. Beautifully engraved decoration with Acorn nips. Marks include PB & AB for Peter Bateman and Anne Bateman, the duty mark, the lion walking and the letter q that show the date as 1791. Very good condition. | ||||||||||
