| Beautiful marine watercolor painting by William Frederick Paskell. Approximately 28 1/2" x 37 1/2" WITH the frame and matting. WITHOUT the frame it measures approximately 18 1/4" x 27 1/4". Signed lower left, "Wm. Paskell". Paskell is a listed American artist, 1866-1951. William Frederick Paskell was born in England on Oct. 5, 1866. He studied in Boston MA under JF DeBlois & Sanderson. He exhibited at the Boston Art Club & the Charitable Mechanics Association in Boston, 1884-1906. He worked in Cape Ann, Nantucket and New Hampshire. He travelled to Europe in the late 1880's. Died in Boston MA in 1951. He is well listed in Who's Who and Fieldings. Very good condition. Nicely framed and ready for hanging. | ||||||||||
