For sale is a handpainted porcelain figurine of a dormaous. I believe it is called "Dormouse-Maximillan". Approximately 6" tall this figure depicts a mouse on driftwood feeding on acorns surrounded with foliage. Marked with the Cybis trademark on the bottom. Pair of porcelain Owl bookends by Boehm Studios of Trenton, NJ. Approximately 9 1/2" high. Traditionally mounted on books. This unlimited edition was introduced in 1960 under Boehm Studio mark Number 453. The piece was discontinued in August 1970, after approximately 1,400 pairs had been produced. Very good condition.
