For sale is an adorable Boehm porcelain orange Kitten. Approximately 4 1/2" HIGH AND 4 1/2" wide (from paw to tail). Front to back is approximately 3". This figure was made in Trenton NJ by Edward Marshal Boehm. Marks include the Boehm trademark, Kitten, 400-91 and MADE IN U.S.A. Boehm is one of the finest porcelain companies in the US. They are well known for their bird figures. Animal figures by this company are not very common. Very good condition.
Beautiful scenic Rookwod Pottery vellum on porcelain vase. c.1923. Approximately 9 1/2" tall. This lovely vase shows a beautiful wooded scene with a house snuggled amongst the trees. When you turn the vase you can see the back side of the house. Marks include Fred Rothenbush's monogram, the mark for Rookwood Pottery with 14 flames and the Roman numerals XXIII c.1923), V(for vellum), the letter P on it's side (porcelain) and the number 2032D. Pair of porcelain Owl bookends by Boehm Studios of Trenton, NJ. Approximately 9 1/2" high. Traditionally mounted on books. This unlimited edition was introduced in 1960 under Boehm Studio mark Number 453. The piece was discontinued in August 1970, after approximately 1,400 pairs had been produced. Very good condition.
