For sale is an adorable Boehm porcelain orange Kitten. Approximately 4 1/2" HIGH AND 4 1/2" wide (from paw to tail). Front to back is approximately 3". This figure was made in Trenton NJ by Edward Marshal Boehm. Marks include the Boehm trademark, Kitten, 400-91 and MADE IN U.S.A. Boehm is one of the finest porcelain companies in the US. They are well known for their bird figures. Animal figures by this company are not very common. Very good condition.
Lovely duck figurine by Bing & Grondhal of Denmark. Approximately 1 1/2" tall and 3 3/4" long. The wonderful little duck appears to be reaching down for a morsel of food. It is light brown on the top and sides with white lines going horizontally and vertically across his back and tail. His beak and web feet are a light orange brown color. Marks include the three towers, B&G, Copenhagen Porcl, Made in Denmark, 1902 and a green X. Very good condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. ...click for details
Wonderful white horse figure lying down by Royal Copenhagen. Approximately 1 3/4" tall and 2 3/4" long. This figure portrays a white horse lying with it's legs tucked underneath it's body. Marks include Royal Copenhagen, the crown, three wavy lines, artist's initials and 4882. Very good condition. No chips, cracks, restoration, etc.
Wonderful porcelain figurine of a horse - foal by Royal Copenhagen. Approximately 2 1/2" high x 3 1/2" long. Marked with the crown logo of Royal Copenhagen, DENMARK, the three lines, 5691 and the artist's initials NG. There is also the stamped number 17. This is a beautiful figure of a young horse lying down. Royal Copenhagen is made in Denmark. Very good condition.
Beautiful scenic Rookwod Pottery vellum on porcelain vase. c.1923. Approximately 9 1/2" tall. This lovely vase shows a beautiful wooded scene with a house snuggled amongst the trees. When you turn the vase you can see the back side of the house. Marks include Fred Rothenbush's monogram, the mark for Rookwood Pottery with 14 flames and the Roman numerals XXIII c.1923), V(for vellum), the letter P on it's side (porcelain) and the number 2032D. Wonderful Royal Doulton bone china Alsatian in the hard to find large size. Approximately 9" tall. This Alsatian is from the championship series and was issued from 1937 and discontinued in 1960. The designer was Frederick Daws. Marks include HN 1115, Ch. Benign of Picardy, Royal Doulton logo, Bone China and the artist's initials (appear to be J.S.). Very good condition. Two minor scratch (pin-head) next to tail.
Pair of porcelain Owl bookends by Boehm Studios of Trenton, NJ. Approximately 9 1/2" high. Traditionally mounted on books. This unlimited edition was introduced in 1960 under Boehm Studio mark Number 453. The piece was discontinued in August 1970, after approximately 1,400 pairs had been produced. Very good condition.
