For sale is a set of 3 coin silver spoons by Boston maker Crosby & Brown, circa 1849-1853. Approximately 8" long and all 3 total 135 grams or 4.35 troy ounces. Monogram on the back of each, T and 1851. According to Rainwater's book, in an 1856 report, Samuel T. Crosby succeeded Obadiah Rich in 1849. For sale is a beautiful 10.15 coin silver ladle by S. Kirk & Son of Baltimore, Maryland. Approximately 8 1/4" long and a heavy 3.40 troy ounces. Beautifully monogrammed EED. Marks include S. KIRK & SON, 10.15. This mark was used in Maryland between 1840-1860. This was most likely a gravy ladle. It is beautiful, early and heavy for it's size. Very good condition.

Monogrammed A.E.R. under a crest that looks like the head of a dragon. Marks include BALL BLACK CO, the American Eagle and W.F. which stands for William Forbes. circa 1851-1865. The set includes 14 pieces, 7 teaspoons 7 1/8" long, 6 forks 7 1/2" long, 1 serving spoon 8 5/8" long. The total weght is 22.86 troy ounces. The six forks are monogrammed JAP.
